Player of the Season 2008-2009

At the AISA AGM on the 11th of September 2009, the results of the 2008-2009 polls were revealed.

Player of the Season 2008-2009

Fourteen players were in the running with three players in close contention. Topping the poll was Robin van Persie. In second was Andrey Arshavin and in 3rd place the winner for the last two seasons, Cesc Fabregas.

Young Player of the Season 2008-2009*

Votes came in for twelve players but just two were in serious competition. This year's star young player was Kieran Gibbs, closely followed by Jack Wilshere.
