GCR Books

GCR Books is an independent publisher specializing in the republication of previously out-of-print Arsenal-related books. Established in 2008 for the republication of Leonard Gribble's 1939 novel The Arsenal Stadium Mystery, GCR Books became GCR Books Limited in July 2009 to coincide with the launch of its second title, Forward Arsenal! by Bernard Joy. November 2009 saw the republication of Football Ambassador, the first football autobiography, by Eddie Hapgood.

With so many excellent Arsenal books no longer in print it's a challenge for Arsenal supporters and fans of classic football literature to find these titles. It can take many months to find secondhand copies of the original books and a lot of hard earned money to pay for them when you do.

GCR Books is trying to bring as many of these books as possible back within the reach and the budget of supporters. Two more books are planned for 2010.
