AISA supports Arsenal Charity Fundraising

AISA supports Arsenal Charity Fundraising

AISA is supporting Arsenal FC's initiative in dedicating its Premier League match against West Bromwich Albion this Saturday, December 8, to The Arsenal Foundation, the Club's charitable arm aimed at transforming young people's lives.

AISA chair Lois Langton has praised the first-team squad and manager, Arsène Wenger, all of whom are donating a day's wages to The Arsenal Foundation, which supports a range of education and sport initiatives in the UK and overseas.

Fundraising activities include bucket collections and a special matchday raffle, with prizes including a signed Arsenal shirt. 50 pence from the sale of every matchday programme will be donated to The Arsenal Foundation and £2 from every sale of an Arsenal bar scarf from Club stores at Emirates Stadium on Saturday will be added to the overall fundraising cause.

Lois Langton says "If you don't buy a programme normally please do so on Saturday. Or beat the cold and do your bit for charity at the same time by purchasing a bar scarf from the club shop."

All money raised from the dedicated matchday will assist The Arsenal Foundation in  supporting a variety of projects, including those of the Club's global charity partner, Save the Children.

A donation of £70,000 has already seen Save the Children deliver its Eat, Sleep, Learn, Play! (ESLP!) and Families and Schools Together (FAST) programmes for the first time in Islington, improving the wellbeing of over 100 families in the area.

To make a donation visit or text 'AFCF12' to 70070 with the amount you would like to donate (e.g. £1).
