2012-13 season to start later
It ihas been provisionally announced that the start of the Barclays Premier League season in 2012/2013 will be on the weekend of 18/19 August 2012, slightly later than usual due to the Olympics Games. Arsenal have already advised that there will not be an Emirates Cup tournament this year for the same reason.
