Stadium news, summer 2010

Arsenal have been busy making changes at the stadium during the close season with some significant re-design work in Club Level (for details see the Arsenal website www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/club-level-improvements-at-emirates-stadium). The "Arsenalisation" process has continued throughout the stadium but the big changes we will all see are the return of a clock inside the stadium and the renaming of the stands.

The old clock remains outside the stadium above the south-east corner but there's a new clock inside at the south end of the stadium and the stands have been renamed as at Highbury.

The colours have been adjusted and will still be used on local signs etc but supporters and visitors will no longer have to look for the Green Quadrant etc. Instead it's North Bank, Clock End, East Stand & West Stand.

The South Bridge had already been renamed Clock End Bridge but now the North Bridge becomes the North Bank Bridge.

The old names will still be used for the Emirates Cup but by the first home game (Blackpool, Aug 21st) everything should be in place. This is the new system:

North Bank (Orange) - Blocks 4-13 Lower, 94-109 Upper
East Stand (Blue) - Blocks 14-19 Lower, 110-115 Upper
Clock End (Green) - Blocks 20-29 Lower, 116-131 Upper
West Stand (Yellow) - Blocks 1-3 & 30-32 Lower, 91-93 & 132-134 Upper
